I’m really excited for these, I’ve been trying to find or come up with a good savory protein bar for years!

I made the vegan version and added some leftover rye discard. They are terrific! Great flavor and texture. I baked half as bars, and the other half I baked biscotti-style - first as a log, then sliced and baked again. Although they never turned completely dry, they are equally tasty. Thanks for such a great savory snack!

These are so delicious and hearty. On the second batch I couldn’t resist adding some chocolate chips. I know the point is savory here but I just love the nutty savory flavor with a zap of sweet every once in a while. Thank you for the recipe! This will be a staple.

I followed the recipe exactly as written and they were really good! I tried one on its own first and then another with some cheddar and tomato jam. So good. Thank you!

I definitely lean savory and was just looking for something to do with psyllium husk powder. Can't wait to try these.

Although they sound delicious, I am looking for a high protein (20 grams) savory snack. Any ideas?

If I wanted to freeze half - would you do before or after baking (basically wondering if I can prep to bake stage and have in the freezer to cook when needed?)
