I had no idea halloumi was a seasonal item. That explains why I can’t find jt most of the time I want it!

Do you have an Aldi nearby? They have "halloumi-style cheese sticks" in the cheese section, I can't guarantee it's not seasonal but I think I have seen it on and off throughout the year! Best I can do here in the redneck hellscape I live in. No Trader Joe's, WF, Sprout's, etc.

I think there is one (maybe two?) in NYC but they aren’t too near to me… But that’s good to know about! I see Aldi’s all over the place in other cities! Funny that they aren’t as prevalent in New York.

we don't in my neighborhood. I can probably get it at other stores but I am mostly focused on TJs so I forget other places exist!

Makes so little sense!

Understandably so, I'm envious! Closest to me is about 45 mins, I have my online shopping list ready when I finally make my way there.

Hmmm! Sounds delicious, but I’m really surprised that halloumi is seasonal where you live. We can buy any variety of haloumi at any time of the year in Australia, as with dates, we must be spoilt.

It really is crazy! The main thing is that it's very expensive here, and about half the price at Trader Joe's... but TJ's only sells it during the summer. I love how halloumi is on nearly every menu in Australia!
