This week I thought it might be interesting to share a “work in progress” (WIP) recipe for paid subscribers, if you’re curious to see how one testing round leads to the next for me. This is a recipe I plan to share after I polish off the recipe, because holidays mean snacks, and a good homemade cracker is a gift to all!
Lately I’ve been fixated on a category of keto seed crackers, which are gluten- and grain-free. I love how nutritionally dense they are, of course, but what I love more is how delicious and easy to make they are. These recipes involve psyllium husk powder, an ingredient I’ve been slow to adopt, but is kind of a miracle binding agent —especially when paired here with the flax and chia. (And not to get into too much detail about how it works as a binder, but psyllium husk is what Metamucil is made of.)
